Courtney Enright

Courtney began practicing yoga at Boston College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education in English. She found her true passion for yoga when she began practicing hot yoga at HYP near her home in Massachusetts. At the time, Courtney was teaching high school English at Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Massachusetts. Despite long hours and an extensive workload at her teaching profession, Courtney always found time in her day to practice hot yoga. After about a month of daily practice, she knew she wanted to combine her two passions: teaching and yoga. Courtney was accepted to the Absolute Hot Yoga Teacher Training in Koh Samui, Thailand. At the end of her third year, she resigned from her teaching career and moved to Santa Barbara, CA to join her boyfriend and pursue her new dream on the west coast. She attended the 200 hour Yoga Alliance accredited teacher training in Thailand in October 2012, and after graduating, she found an even greater desire to spread her love and passion for yoga - along with its extensive emotional, physical, and mental health benefits - to anyone and everyone. Courtney's goal in opening Mesa Hot Yoga is to combine her passions for teaching and yoga, and share her love and desire for growth through movement and meditation to the residents of beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
